The Bloom Closet, more than a resource center.

A source of dignity and joy.

A boutique-like shopping experience for foster children and their families.

When children enter foster care, most are empty-handed, with nothing but the clothes on their backs to call their own. In The Bloom Closet, we fill their hands with free clothing, books, toys, school supplies, and more. And we fill their hearts with encouragement and love.

The entire shopping experience, from the enthusiastic staff to the whimsical décor and high-quality items, strives to spark joy and restore dignity within each child.

The Bloom
Closet Express

The Bloom Closet Express is a custom-designed truck that transforms into a pop-up boutique with all the free resources of The Bloom Closet. The Express travels to foster children in underserved communities across Georgia, outside of The Bloom Closet’s immediate reach.

11Alive was on site at The Bloom Express launch in April 2021.

“Fostering has been one of the most rewarding experiences we could ever ask for. The children that have come into our care have not only become a part of our family, but also our hearts. As foster parents, we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to provide a loving, nurturing, and safe environment for children in need. There is nothing more precious than seeing the smile on the face of a child for the first time, it brings us so much joy and happiness.”
