This April, Bloom will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its annual fundraising gala, the Bloom Ball, which benefits Georgia’s foster children. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, April 27, at 6 p.m. and, for the first time, will be held at the Georgia Aquarium.

The evening will include a three-course dinner from esteemed chef Wolfgang Puck, live and silent auctions, and live entertainment! Throughout the night, guests can see the Georgia Aquarium’s Ocean Voyager and Beluga Whale exhibits through viewing windows in the ballroom.

Funds raised through the Bloom Ball will propel Bloom’s mission to provide safe, nurturing foster homes, clothing, toys, school supplies, and other necessities for thousands of foster children across Georgia.

“Attending the Bloom Ball is one of the best ways to support foster children in need,” said Mayor Vince Williams, board chair for Bloom. “This is the largest fundraising event of the year for Bloom, and we are thrilled by the excitement and enthusiasm surrounding this year’s event being held at the Georgia Aquarium. Sponsors and attendees of the Bloom Ball will not only enjoy a fun night out but more importantly, funds raised will help make a powerful impact in the lives of foster children.”

This year’s presenting sponsor for the event will be SMC3, a logistics transportation company based in Peachtree City.

“SMC3 is passionate about supporting the community that we operate in,” said SMC3 President & CEO Andrew Slusher. “We strongly believe that every individual should be treated with respect and dignity, no matter their circumstances. That’s why we’re proud to support Bloom’s mission to help every foster child in Georgia.”

Additional sponsorship opportunities are still available. Tickets are on sale for $200, or a table can be purchased for $2,000. Don’t miss out on the biggest and best Bloom Ball yet! For more information, to become a sponsor, or to purchase tickets, visit bloomouryouth.org/bloom-ball.
