Your Pie Partners with Bloom for Dine and Donate Days

Last week in Fayetteville, Bloom Our Youth participated in Your Pie’s Grand Opening and “Dine and Donate” days. Owner/operators, Jeff and Carmen Poindexter, welcomed Bloom’s team to their new pizza restaurant to meet guests and collect donations of new and gently used children’s pajamas for The Bloom Closet. In addition, Your Pie’s employees and “Dine and Donate” guests generously donated $1,384.00 to support the organization’s programs for foster children in Georgia.

“We feel that ‘Dine and Donate’ is a great opportunity to further inform the community about Bloom’s mission,” states the Your Pie owners, Carmen and Jeff Poindexter. Boom representatives joined Your Pie for three “Dine and Donate” days, and ultimately left with an overflowing bin of brand new clothes (including a very stylish pizza-themed onesie). In addition to the much-needed donations, Bloom representatives were able to connect with hundreds of restaurant patrons and educate them about the need for foster parents in the community.

The generosity of Your Pie’s owners and restaurant patrons is sure to make a huge impact on the lives of abused and abandoned foster children in the community. “What a blessing Your Pie has been to Bloom,” comments Bloom Executive Director Becky Davenport. “We are so grateful to Carmen and Jeff for selecting Bloom as their charity partner for the ‘Dine and Donate’ event.”

Your Pie is now open for business and is located in The Pavilion shopping center in Fayetteville, GA.
