01 Jun The Clay Van Meter State Farm Agency supports Bloom Foster Children through “Quotes for Good” Program
In June and July, The Clay Van Meter State Farm Agency is helping to support Bloom’s program for foster children! Through their “Quotes for Good” program, the agency is donating $5 for every insurance quote completed. The Clay Van Meter State Farm Agency, located at Crosstown in Peachtree City, is also a drop-off location for donations of gently used or new children’s clothing, diapers, and toiletries for foster children, now through July 31st.
Bloom currently serves 3,800 foster children annually through The Bloom Closet, a cost-free clothing boutique which is available to all foster children in Georgia. Toiletries donated at the Clay Van Meter Agency will be available at The Bloom Closet for foster children in need of basic necessities.
“One of my primary goals when I started my agency was to give back to the community,” comments Clay Van Meter. “Being a father of five, I know how important the children are to our future. Each child should be made to feel special, loved and wanted, which is why we are partnering with Bloom.”
“We are so honored that Clay Van Meter chose Bloom as the beneficiary of the Quote for Good program,” comments Becky Davenport, Bloom Executive Director. “We very much appreciate the heart he has for the kids we serve here at Bloom.”
State Farm prides itself in their community efforts in giving back and Quotes for Good is a way for every office to connect and give back to their own community. Thank you again to Clay Van Meter’s office for supporting Bloom this year!
