It’s no secret that the heartbeat of our organization often comes from the generosity of local folks who are connected with civic groups, church groups, and businesses. We are constantly meeting interesting, talented people who are inspired by our mission and whole-heartedly offer to step forward in any way they can to make a difference in the lives of the children we serve. Over the years, Bloom has had the honor of connecting with artists, musicians, business owners, non-profit groups, and more who aspire to help us change the face of foster care in our community.
Today, we are humbled once again as we welcome a new contributor from our community: Mark and Allyson Turner of Turner PhotoDesign. Turner PhotoDesign has graciously decided to donate a portion of their proceeds to Bloom. “Allyson and I feel blessed by God to be able to get up every morning and look forward to spending the day doing something we love,” Mark says, “We believe that the least we can do in return is help our church and our community through our craft.”
The family-owned and operated photography business is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. Not only are Mark and Allyson a talented husband-and-wife team, but they are also the parents of two daughters and grandparents to four children.
Mark and Allyson’s ability to connect with children shines through their work – capturing every sparkle, dimple and smile. We are so thrilled and thankful that they have chosen to embrace our children – and our cause – as their own.
